As a community-focused group, our club operates as a non-profit organization. All donations, monthly subscriptions, and commissions or produce are reinvested into the club's operations. These funds help us cover essential expenses, such as rent and other overheads, which we need to meet on a monthly basis.

We greatly rely on the generosity of those who support us.

To sustain our efforts, we aim to build connections with local businesses, particularly those in the timber industry—such as wood yards, DIY stores, and building firms. We are seeking donations of offcuts, unused timber, or other materials that our members can put to good use. Additionally, we would deeply appreciate any support to help subsidize our operating expenses.

We also warmly invite other local groups to collaborate with us. Our premises and the creativity of our willing members can be a valuable resource for your projects. For example, we recently partnered with Jarra Big Local, who joined us weekly at our ‘shed’ to produce wooden items. Together, we also designed and built a unique 'Exotic Tea Making' chest for them (see images below).

If you’d like to support us or collaborate on a project, we’d be delighted to hear from you!
