After a visit from the NIB panel the Monkton Village committee contacted the shed to see if we could accomodate them in making various wooden items to add to the village to promote and care for the local wildlife.  We of course were delighted to help and started straight away to design and construct  items (inline with RSPB and other wildlife organisations guidlines/recommendations).

We handcrafted several items including Birds nesting boxes (5),

2 'Kent Design' Bat boxes, 3 Hedgehog Boxes, 2 Solitary Bee Hotels

and a number of 'doggy' posts which were

decorated by the local primary school.
